Objective: to analyse orthodontic camouflage techniques assisted by mini-implants. Method: systematic review. Results: 15 scientific articles were reviewed. Conclusion: Mini-implant assisted orthodontic camouflage techniques have proven to be an effective and less invasive alternative for the treatment of complex skeletal malocclusions, especially in patients with Class II and additional problems such as deep overbite and gummy smile. Although these techniques have been shown to offer precise control and favourable aesthetic results, the choice of method should be adapted to the specific characteristics of each case, considering functional and aesthetic factors.
