The phenomenon of organised crime in Ecuador has emerged as a complex problem that requires detailed analysis from various legal perspectives. Accordingly, the objective of this research is to analyse organised crime in Ecuador from a legal perspective. It was developed under a descriptive documentary methodology, focused on the analysis of the dynamics of organised crime in Ecuador from a legal perspective. The analysis of organised crime in Ecuador from a legal perspective reveals the need for a comprehensive response that includes international cooperation, reform of the judicial and penitentiary system, and the use of advanced technological tools for crime prevention. Ecuadorian legislation must adapt to the complexity of the phenomenon, including aspects such as contract killings, prison violence and the recruitment of adolescents into criminal networks.
