Labour law in Ecuador faces challenges in guaranteeing the comprehensive protection of workers. The objective of this research is to carry out a legal and doctrinal analysis of the rights of workers in the face of discrimination. The documentary population consisted of 13 scientific and doctrinal articles, selected for their relevance and contribution to the topic of study. The legal analysis of workers' rights in the face of discrimination in Ecuador reveals an urgent need to strengthen the regulatory framework, integrating both traditional protections and the new emerging realities of the labour environment. The doctrine highlights the importance of guaranteeing job stability and the right to reinstatement as pillars against arbitrary dismissal and discrimination, while also highlighting the urgency of addressing age discrimination and adapting regulations to contemporary challenges such as digital disconnection.
