Resumen

Objetivo: diseñar un protocolo para la canalización de vía periférica como guía innovadora para el cuidado seguro y eficiente. Método: Revisión sistemática PRISMA. Se procesaron 30 articulos como población final, ubicados en base de datos como: Scopus, PubMed, Web of Science. Resultados: Es importante que los profesionales de la salud se enfoquen más en la generación de investigaciones en cuanto a la canalización de una vía venosa periférica y sus posibles complicaciones, ya que de esta manera se logrará alcanzar mejores estándares de calidad en atención de salud y con esto permitiremos que los profesionales permanezcan capacitados y con actualizaciones recientes en cuanto a la evidencia científica que este procedimiento requiere.
