Escoliosis en conductores de transporte pesado pertenecientes a INTERCITI [Scoliosis in heavy transport drivers belonging to INTERCITI]

Resumen

Objetivo: estudiar la presencia de escoliosis en conductores de transporte pesado pertenecientes a INTERCITI. Método: descriptivo observacional en 37 conductores. Resultados y Conclusión: Los resultados de este estudio evidencian una alta prevalencia de molestias musculoesqueléticas en conductores de transporte pesado, destacando que cerca del 50% reportó dolor lumbar esporádico y un 13,9% fue diagnosticado con escoliosis, mientras que un 38,9% refirió cambios leves en su postura, estos resultados resaltan la posible relación entre las condiciones laborales, como la exposición prolongada a vibraciones y posturas mantenidas, y el desarrollo de alteraciones en la columna vertebral.
