Scoliosis in heavy transport drivers belonging to INTERCITI [Escoliosis en conductores de transporte pesado pertenecientes a INTERCITI]

Objective: to study the presence of scoliosis in heavy goods vehicle drivers belonging to INTERCITI. Method: descriptive observational in 37 drivers. Results and Conclusion: The results of this study show a high prevalence of musculoskeletal discomfort in heavy goods vehicle drivers, highlighting that nearly 50% reported sporadic lower back pain and 13.9% were diagnosed with scoliosis, while 38.9% reported slight changes in their posture, these results highlight the possible relationship between working conditions, such as prolonged exposure to vibrations and sustained postures, and the development of alterations in the spine.
