Técnicas convencionales y rotatorias en la preparación de conductos odontológicos [Conventional and rotary techniques in the preparation of dental root canals]

Resumen

Objetivo: analizar las técnicas convencionales y rotatorias en la preparación de conductos odontológicos. Método: revisión sistemática en población de 15 articulos científicos. Resultados y Conclusión: Los estudios revisados demuestran que las técnicas rotatorias son más efectivas que las manuales en la limpieza y preparación de los conductos radiculares, ya que ofrecen mayor precisión, control y capacidad para eliminar microorganismos como Enterococcus faecalis y la capa de barrillo dentinario, estas técnicas permiten conservar mejor la estructura del diente, reducen la expulsión de restos hacia el ápice y agilizan el tiempo de trabajo, especialmente cuando se combinan con la irrigación ultrasónica o GentleWave.
