Resumen

Objetivo: analizar los Ionómeros reforzados con resina como una alternativa para restauraciones en dientes temporales. Método: revisión sistemática en población de 16 articulos científicos. Resultados y Conclusión: Los ionómeros de vidrio reforzados con resina (RMGIC) representan una alternativa valiosa para restauraciones en dientes temporales, especialmente en el contexto de la odontología pediátrica. Su combinación única de propiedades mecánicas mejoradas, adhesión química a los tejidos dentales y liberación sostenida de flúor los posiciona favorablemente frente a otros materiales restauradores.
