Abstract

The psychological expert evaluation on the credibility of testimony in cases of sexual crimes has emerged as a fundamental component in the modern judicial system, given the sensitivity and complexity inherent to these processes. The objective of this study was to analyze the psychological expert evidence on the credibility of testimony in rape victims. Methodological work was carried out by means of a systematic documentary review, the population consisted of a total of 18 scientific articles. By focusing on psychological and emotional aspects, this test allows identifying elements of coherence and congruence in the testimony that support the veracity of the experience narrated, minimizing the influence of prejudices and avoiding revictimization.
