Objective: To determine the level of knowledge about diagnosis, management and treatment of COVID-19 in health personnel of Hospital Básico Pelileo. Method: Cross-sectional, quantitative and analytical study through a questionnaire of 20 multiple-choice questions applied to 22 health workers. Descriptive statistics were calculated using IBM SPSS Statistics 26. Results: The percentage of correct answers ranged from 9.09% for prophylactic anticoagulation parameters to 90.91% for oxygen therapy indication. 90.9% of personnel presented low knowledge (less than 6 points) and 9.1% moderate knowledge (6.1-8 points). Conclusions: Knowledge about diagnosis, management, treatment and prognosis of COVID-19 is insufficient in the evaluated health personnel, requiring urgent educational interventions.
