Abstract

Objective: To evaluate non-surgical orthodontic mechanics in the correction of deep bite. Methods: A search was conducted in PubMed, Cochrane Library, and Google Scholar, selecting articles in English, Spanish, and Portuguese from 2009 onwards, using terms such as ‘deep bite,’ ‘incisor intrusion,’ and ‘mini-implants.’ After applying the inclusion criteria, 10 articles were reviewed that compared the effectiveness of different techniques and their post-treatment stability. Results and conclusion: The results indicate that there is no significant difference between the mechanics and devices currently used for the correction of deep bite.
