Objective: Design a protocol for safe care in the intravenous administration of drugs. Method: PRISMA systematic review. Fifteen articles were processed as the final population, located in databases such as Scopus, PubMed, and Web of Science. Results: The implementation of clear, evidence-based guidelines contributes significantly to reducing errors and risks associated with intravenous drug administration, which favours early recovery and promotes high-quality practice.
