Objective: to describe the study and clinical surgical treatment of diabetic foot. Method: Clinical case report. Results: The 40-year-old male patient has been diagnosed with an advanced form of diabetic foot, called Pedis III, which involves both neuropathy and ischaemia. Conclusion: In the case described, supracondylar amputation was a necessary measure due to the presence of necrotic tissue and advanced infection, which reflects the importance of timely treatment to avoid major complications.
