Objetivo: analizar las infecciones de transmisión sexual mal tratadas en adolescentes. Método: Revisión sistemática. Resultados y conclusión: Las infecciones de transmisión sexual mal tratadas en adolescentes representan un problema de salud pública, agravado por la falta de conocimiento, actitudes inadecuadas y barreras culturales y estructurales que limitan el acceso a la educación sexual y los servicios de salud. La persistencia de comportamientos de riesgo, la desinformación sobre métodos preventivos como la vacunación contra el VPH y las desigualdades en el acceso a recursos educativos y sanitarios contribuyen a la alta prevalencia de estas infecciones en esta población vulnerable.
