The research objective is to analyse the integration of cross-cutting themes in the university curriculum for the development of competences in changing educational environments. The research was developed through a documentary analysis, 21 academic papers were selected. Phenomenology, active pedagogy and competence-based approaches offer theoretical and practical frameworks that prepare students to act with autonomy, creativity and social responsibility. By integrating these cross-cutting dimensions, the university not only prepares more complete professionals, but also citizens capable of acting and transforming their environment with a social and global awareness.
