Knowledge management (KM), conceived as a systematic process for capturing, organising and transferring knowledge, emerges as a crucial component for fostering innovation and creativity in the educational environment. This article aims to analyse innovation and creativity in the educational environment from the perspective of knowledge management. The methodology used was based on the documentary and comparative review of a selection of 16 scientific studies. Knowledge management (KM) is positioned as a fundamental element to promote innovation and creativity in the educational environment, as can be seen from the different approaches analysed. KM not only facilitates the structuring and optimisation of intellectual resources within educational institutions, but also promotes collaboration and continuous improvement among educational actors.
