Abstract

Objective: To analyze the efficacy of monoclonal antibodies, particularly sacituzumab govitecan and pembrolizumab, in pretreated patients with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer. Materials and methods: Systematic review following PRISMA methodology. Eighteen clinical studies from PubMed and SciELO databases were analyzed, evaluating objective response rate and progression-free survival. Results: Sacituzumab govitecan showed an objective response rate of 31-35% and progression-free survival of 4.6-5.5 months. Pembrolizumab combined with chemotherapy achieved 42% response in patients with high PD-L1 expression. Conclusions: Monoclonal antibodies represent an effective alternative to conventional chemotherapy, with benefits dependent on biomarkers and appropriate patient selection.
